More info on Per Fly’s English-language debut

More information has been released on Per Fly’s English-language debut feature Backstabbing for Beginners on the Nordisk Film & TV Fund website. American actor Josh Hutcherson is set to play the lead role of an idealist, working as programme coordinator for the UN’s Oil for Food programme. He discovers he is part of the biggest corruption scandal in world history, and decides to expose it all – risking the fate of the UN, his life, the career of his boss and mentor (Sir Ben Kingsley) and his love affair with a Kurdish woman.

This political thriller is set to start filming in January 2016, and is based on the novel Backstabbing for Beginners: My Crash Course in International Diplomacy by former UN employee and whistle blower Michael Soussan.

The film is supported by the Nordisk Film and TV Fund, the Danish Film Institute, DR, the Swedish Film Institute & Ontario Media Development Corporation.
