Joshua Oppenheimer to deliver masterclass in Sarajevo

Danish documentary filmmaker Joshua Oppenheimer is set to host a festival masterclass at the Sarajevo Film Festival.

Oppenheimer directed The Act of Killing and The Look of Silence, both of which were about the genocide of Indonesia. He was nominated for two Academy Awards for his work.

Oppenheimer will deliver a masterclass and audience Q&A as the festival pays tribute to him.

Oppenheimer’s next projects include two narrative features, one of which is a musical inspired by Samuel Beckett’s play Happy Days.

The Sarajevo Film Festival takes place between the 11th and 18th of August.
