The Swedish actor currently making it big in Hollywood, Joel Kinnaman, will star in the adapatation of 2011’s Hanna, which is being produced by Amazon.

Kinnaman plays Erik, a hardened soldier and mercenary who has spent the past fifteen years raising his daughter Hanna in the remote forests of northern Poland. Kinnaman will star alongside his The Killing co-star, Mireille Enos, who will play Marissa, a ruthless agent who is haunted by a dark secret that the reappearance of Hanna and her father threatens to expose.
