Ingrid Bergman has strong opening in Sweden


The Ingrid Bergman documentary has had a record opening for a Swedish documentary. The documentary, which premiered in Cannes, had by the 13th of September 87,975 admissions since its Swedish gala premiere at Stockholm’s Royal Dramatic Theatre.

Produced by Mantaray Films Stina Gardell, who co-wrote the biopic with Stig Björkman and Dominica Daubenbüchel, the documentary initially recorded 46,420 admissions, making it the strongest Swedish opening for a local film in 2015.
