Icelandic producer Anton Máni Svansson to participate in Producers on the Move

The Icelandic producer Anton Máni Svansson, notably known for Heartstone, has been selected to participate in this year’s Producers on the Move.

Producers on the Move is an annual initiative for up-and-coming producers that is held at the Cannes Film Festival. It connects producers with potential coproduction partners, strengthening their industry networks and providing a platform for the next generation of European filmmakers. Producers on the Move is organised by European Film Promotion and supported by the Creative Europe – MEDIA Programme of the EU.

Svansson’s Heartstone, which is directed by Gudmundur Arnar Gudmundsson, has won more than thirty international film awards. Svansson has also co-produced the upcoming Winter Brothers, directed by Hlynur Pálmason. Svansson is the founder of the production company Join Motion Pictures.
