‘Holiday’ sold to North America for distribution

The Danish film Holiday has been sold to Breaking Glass Pictures for North American distribution, Variety reports.

Directed by Isabella Eklof, Holiday is about a young woman who discovers that her dream life of luxury, recklessness and fun comes at a price when she meets the family of her drug lord boyfriend at his holiday villa on the Turkish Riviera.

After premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, Holiday has since won Best Film and Best Director at the Fantastic Fest and the Grand Prix at Film Fest Sundsvall and the New Horizons International Film Festival.

Holiday will be released in theatres in the United States in February, with a DVD/VOD release to follow.
