Hlynur Pálmason starts production on WINTER BROTHERS

The Icelandic film Winter Brothers has commenced production in Iceland this month. The film is written and directed by Hlynur Pálmason, who is the winner of a Special Mention at the Nordic Talents in 2013 for the same film.
Starring Elliot Hove, Simon Sears and Peter Plauborg, Winter Brothers follows two brothers, their routines, habits, rituals, and a violent feud that erupts between them and another family. The film is produced by Danish company Masterplan Pictures and co-produced by Icelandic company Join Motion Pictures, and has received DKK 5 million in production support from the Danish Film Institute.
Icelandic release is set for 2017.
