Gustaf Skarsgård & Fares Fares to star in season two of WESTWORLD

Scandinavian actors are taking over Westworld!

Major Swedish actors Gustaf Skarsgård and Fares Fares have been confirmed as regulars for the second season of the widely popular HBO series Westworld.

Skarsgård will play Karl Strand, a white-collar guy comfortable in the field. Fares will play Antoine Costa, a tech expert with an objective perspective.

Westworld season one was very successful, currently sitting at a 9.0/10 on IMDb. The series is set in an amusement park, though it isn’t a typical one. Intended for rich vacationers, the futuristic park allows its visitors to live out their most primal fantasies with the robotic “hosts.” However, the robotic hosts have evolved an artificial consciousness that is similar to, yet diverges from, human consciousness. No matter how illicit the fantasy may be, there are no consequences for the park’s guests, allowing for any wish to be indulged; but there is a price to be paid.

Gustaf Skarsgård is best known for his role in Vikings, and Fares Fares is famous as Assad in the Department Q films.
