Gender equality hits record high in Norwegian film

As published in the Norwegian Film industry Facts and Figures published in 2014, gender equality has reached an all-time high. In feature-length fiction film production funding, the share of key staff in making films reached 53.9%. For documentaries, the female staff was 36.4% and it was 61.3% in short films. These figures are up from last year and are the highest numbers ever registered.
