Five Swedish Films Receive Automatic Funding in 2013


The Swedish Film Institute has released information on the five films that received automatic funding in 2013. The films are MastermindMedicineThe Last ChanceSune on Road Trip and Tillbaka till Bromma. 

Alain Darborg has previously directed shorts and the television film Incognito(2013). Mastermind is his feature debut. With a screenplay by Edward af Sillénand Daniel Rehn, Medicine is Colin Nutley’s latest film. Starring Helena Bergström, the film also has a strong supporting cast. The Last Chance is a new film from Staffan Lindberg, the director of Once Upon a Time in Phuket (2012). These three films, along with Hannes Holm’s Sune on Road Trip and Martin Persson’s Tillbaka till Bromma, have been awarded automatic funding for 2013.
