First image from Fenar Ahmad’s ‘Valhalla’

The first still from the upcoming Norse mythology film Valhalla has been released, with Danish actor Roland Møller starring as Thor.

Inspired by the comic book by Peter Madsen, Valhalla follows two Viking children, Røskva and Tjalfe, who embark on a quest from Midgård to Valhalla, which is under threat from Fenrir and Jötunn. The two have to save the world by fighting alongside the gods Thor and Loki.

Alongside Møller as Thor, we have Dulfi Al-Jabouri as Loki, Asbjørn Krogh Nissen as Odin, Jacob Lohmann as Tyr, Stine Fischer Christensen as Frigg, and Andreas Jessen as Baldur.

The film is directed by Fenar Ahmad, who has previously directed the dark supernatural gangster thriller Darkland, which was released last year.

No release date has been announced.
