Finnish Film Foundation Elects New Feature Film Commissioners

The Finnish Film Foundation has elected new Feature Film Commissioners: Sarita Koskelin and Kari Paljakka.

Sarita Koskelin has been working as a television producer for several years and is currently working at the Finnish MTV Media Company as an Executive Producer in charge of drama production.

Kari Paljakka is a seasoned film director and scriptwriter who has previously served as a Production Consultant at AVEK.

Together they will be in charge of feature film production support from the 1st of January 2018 onwards. In addition to support for feature films, Koskelin will handle support applications for television drama series and Paljakka the production support applications for minority co-productions.

The previous Feature Film Commissioners, Hannu Tuomainen and Marjo Valve, will finish their five-year term at the end of this year.
