Finnish Film Affair to strengthen local talent

The Fencer

The fourth edition of the Finnish Film Affair will take place between the 22nd and 24th of September as part of the Helsinki International Film Festival, also known as Love & Anarchy. A record number of 70 film professionals including sales agents, distributors and programmers from all over Europe and the USAare due to attend.

Among the festival highlights is The Fencer, Finland’s Oscar entry which was pitched at last years Finnish Film Affair.  “It’s great to see former Finnish Film Affair titles doing so well,” comments HIFF executive director Sara Norberg. “After three successful editions, the Finnish Film Affair has clearly established itself internationally as the place to discover new local talent.” (source: Cineuropa)
