Filming begins on ‘The Man Who Spoke English’

The upcoming Swedish television series The Man Who Spoke English (original title: Mannen som talade engelska) has commenced production in the southern city of Gothenburg.

Described as a ‘Nordic Noir spoof’, the series follows Sophie Borg, a loner who doesn’t trust anyone. When a British man falls victim to a macabre murder with religious overtones in her old hometown of Norrbacka, Borg has one last chance for redemption.

The series stars Lisa Henni (Easy Money) and Adam Godley (Breaking Bad, pictured).

The Man Who Spoke English will premiere on Swedish pubcaster SVT in winter 2017.
