A remote fishing village in Iceland. Teenage boys Thor and Christian experience a turbulent summer as one tries to win the heart of a girl while the other discovers new feelings toward his best friend. When summer ends and the harsh nature of Iceland takes back its rights, it’s time to leave the playground and face adulthood.

Kjetil, a Norwegian offshore worker is a recent widower, now left alone to take care of his six years old adopted son, Daniel. Unable to deal with his single parent role, Kjetil decides to bring Daniel back to Colombia, where a taxi driver helps him look for the biological mother.

Thelma moves to Oslo to study Biology. She is a quite introverted who has received a very rigorous Christian education. One day, Thelma experiences a severe seizure; luckily, Anja comes to her aid immediately. From then on, Thelma feels extremely attracted to Anja, despite the fact that it goes against her beliefs. Although the closer they get, the more intense Thelma’s seizures become, and they are probably related to her supernatural abilities.
