Eurimages supports new Nordic films

At its 143rd meeting held last week in Amsterdam, the Board of Management of the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund agreed to support 27 fiction and 2 documentary feature film projects.

Included in the list are six Nordic films. Lars von Trier’s The House That Jack Built will receive funding, as well as Ruben Ostlund’s The Square.

Here’s the complete lineup of Nordic films receiving funding:

  • What Will People Say – Iram Haq (Norway, Germany, France)
  • Holiday – Isabella Eklöf (Denmark, Netherlands)
  • Cold Case Hammarskjöld (Documentary) – Mads Brügger (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Belgium)
  • Under the Tree – Hafsteinn Sigurdsson (Iceland, Poland, Denmark)
  • The Square – Ruben Ostlund (Sweden, Germany, France)
  • The House That Jack Built – Lars Von Trier (Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany)
