DFI Adopts Walk of Fame on Gothersgade


Danish film is the star rate, and even an Oscar in the luggage it is time to ignore Jantelov. The Danish Film Institute has now received approval to establish a large-scale honor sidewalk in Gothersgade, Copenhagen. (This is an April Fool).

This autumn converted Gothersgade to Denmark’s answer to Hollywood Boulevard when Mayor Frank Jensen takes the first steps, and Film Institute Henrik Bo Nielsen immerses the first of the film industry stars in Copenhagen’s new Walk of Fame.

It is fact after a unanimous City Council this morning approved the proposal that has come from the Film Institute in the wake of the last decade’s international success of Danish film.
