Danish/Icelandic film WINTER BROTHERS sells to the US

The Danish/Icelandic film Winter Brothers has been sold to multiple territories including the United States, Screen reports.

New Europe Film Sales has sold the film to France, Greece, Poland, Hungary and Iceland, as well as the United States.

Directed by Hlynur Pálmason, the Danish/Icelandic co-production stars Elliott Crosset Hove and Lars Mikkelsen who work in a mining community in Eastern Denmark. The story revolves around two brothers who enter a violent feud with another family.

Winter Brothers is a Danish/Icelandic co-production between Masterplan Pictures and Join Motion Pictures. The film premiered at Locarno and also played at the Toronto International Film Festival.
