The Danish ‘Batman-like’ thriller, Darkland, is set to start filming in three weeks.
Darkland is about a successful surgeon who casually decided to avenge his brothers death. He does this by going undercover in Copenhagen’s criminal gang wearing a mask. Dar Salim (known for Borgen) is set to take the lead, with Stine Fischer Christensen (After the Wedding) and Dulfi Al-Jabouri (A War) also starring in the film.
Darkland is produced by Profile Pictures with support from the Danish Film Institute.
