Danish film POUND FOR POUND picked up by sales agency

The Danish film Pound for Pound (Den bedste mand) has been picked up by Dutch Features Global Entertainment.

This marks the first Scandinavian title to have its world rights handled by the company.

Pound for Pound stars Danish favourite Mikkel Boe Følsgaard as legendary boxer Jorgen Hansen, who at 34 sees his career slump until he encounters a young African boxer, Ayub Kalule. The film is inspired by actual events and was released locally in Denmark back in June. So far, it hasn’t had much attention abroad, but here’s hoping we get a chance to see it.

Pound for Pound is directed by Mikkel Serup and also stars Arnold OcengLene Maria Christensen, Kristian Fjord and Søren Malling.
