Danish film festival CPH:PIX to open with new gambling film

With the next edition of CPH:PIX to kick off next month, the opening film has been announced via Screen.

The film, All In, is a brand-new Copenhagen-set gambling film starring Dejan Čukić (In China They Eat Dogs, Easy Money) as Claus, who tries to maintain his facade as a car salesman, but the double life begins to have its consequences when his estranged teenage son is in debt to some local gangsters.

CPH:PIX is in its ninth year and runs from the 27th of September until the 11th of October.

All In (Fantasen in Danish) is directed by Christian Dyekjaer and will be released in Danish cinemas on the 7th of November 2017.

Other Danish films screening at the festival include Winter BrothersDarling, While We Live and the sci-fi film Man Divided. In total, at least 14 local Danish films will screen at the festival.
