British actress Claire Foy will star as Libseth Salander, and Dutch actress Sylvia Hoeks will be Salander’s twin sister.

The Girl in the Spiders Web is based on the book by David Lagercrantz, who took over from Stieg Larsson on the series. The screenplay has been adapted by Steven Knight. The Girl in the Spiders Web will be shot in Berlin and Stockholm with a release date set for the 19th of October 2018.
