BULLETS wins Coup de Coeur Award at MIPDrama

The Finnish political thriller series Bullets has won the Coup de Coeur Award at the MipDrama Buyers summit after impressing buyers with a fifteen-minute clip.

The fifteen-minute clip established the shifting perspectives of Bullets, the two main characters, the context, Helsinki, and a welling sense of tragedy. Krista Kosonen (Miami, Blade Runner 2049) stars as undercover cop Mari Saari.

The series aims to feature strong independent female characters, a dark atmosphere, and a meaningful topic.

Bullets is created by Bordertown’s co-screenwriter Antii Pesonen as well as Vertigo Production’s Minna Virtanen, and is written by Pesonen Matti Laine (Bordertown) and Kirsi Vikamn (Mother of Mine).

Bullets will be released in Finland this year, with international releases sure to follow.
