‘Blue Eyes’ starts on SBS

The Swedish political Blue Eyes (Blå ögo) is premiering on Australian channel SBS from today.

The series starts when waitress Elin Hammar (Louise Peterhoff) is recruited as a chief of staff by Minister of Justice Gunnar Elvestad (Sven Nordin) following the mysterious death of her predecessor, while Sofia Nilsson (Karin Franz Korlof) turns destructive after her mother Annika is murdered after delivering a politically charged speech in the town square.
