Anneke von der Lippe wins international Emmy

Norwegian actress Anneke von der Lippe has become the first Nordic performer in the Nordic countries to win an Emmy from the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. She plays police investigator Helen Sikkeland in NRK’s 2014 six-part thriller series Eyewitness (Øyevitne), about two youngsters witnessing a brutal murder in a small town, but are too afraid to tell.

She has been previously nominated after she played a government minister in By the Kings Table.
