Alexander Skarsgård wins a Critics Choice Award

Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård has won a Critics Choice Award for his role in the U.S. drama Big Little Lies.

Skarsgård won ‘Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series’, beating out Johnny Flynn (Genius), Benito Martinez (American Crime), Alfred Molina (Feud), David Thewlis (Fargo), and Stanley Tucci (Feud).

This awards season is proving to be successful for Skarsgård, who won a Golden Globe earlier this month for his Big Little Lies role.

A second season of Big Little Lies has been confirmed by HBO, and Skarsgård is in talks to return.
