Ai Weiwei – The Fake Case to air in Denmark

Four months after its world premiere at IDFA, the Danish documentary titled Ai Weiwei: The Fake Case by Andreas Johnsen is going to be airing in Denmark on the 4th of March. 

The film is an intimate look at the famous Chinese contemporary artist and political artist. The film one a Bodil this year for best Documentary and has attended several world festivals since last November. Helene Aurø, Deputy Head of DR Sale said: “The film is a good example of how we manage to pre-sell films and drama series to foreign TV stations. This is the case here with the British pubcaster BBC, Swedish SVT, Norwegian NRK, Australian SBS and the TV station RTS in French-speaking part of Switzerland. They’ve all said they would show the film, while Poland and Croatia have bought it.”
