A second season of Jakob Oftebro’s HAMILTON has been confirmed

The international spy thriller series Hamilton has been confirmed for a second season, Variety reports.

The series stars Norwegian actor Jakob Oftebro as the international spy Carl Hamilton, who in season one becomes part of an illegal black ops cell within the Swedish military. It is adapted from the popular novels by Swedish author Jan Guillou.

You may remember the Hamilton films that were released a decade ago starring Mikael Persbrandt; the series will be quite similar to that.

The first season will begin shooting next month across Scandinavia and Russia. Season two of the series will shoot mainly in English in Southern Europe and the Middle East.

The company is also developing, through it joint venture with Pampas Studios, the second season of “Hamilton,” the international spy thriller series based on Swedish author Jan Guillou’s novels. Season two of the series be shooting mainly in English in Southern Europe and in the Middle East.

Season one is being directed by Kasper Barfoed and will be released next year. You can see the poster below:
