Double Win For Lilyhammer At Norwegian Emmys


The Norwegian dramedy show Lilyhammer produced by Rubicon TV for NRK triumphed last Friday at Norway’s TV Gullruten awards, picking up Best TV Drama and Best Actor. US star guitarist/actor/ Steven van Zandt – aka Frank ‘the fixer’ Tagliano’- who is working on the series’ third season was at Bergen’s awards ceremony alongside his Lilyhammer colleagues including producer Anders Tangen.

Other Gullruten awards went to NRK’s Trio-Odin’s Gold that picked up Best Children and Youth Programme, the documentary Twin Sisters by Mona Friis Bertheussen awarded Best TV documentary and leading lady Elsa Lystad, awarded Best Actress for her role in Etter karnevalet.

Norway’s pubcaster NRK dominated the annual television awards ceremony with 11 Gullrutens followed by TV2 (6 awards) and TV Norge (four awards).
