Korso by Akseli Tuomivaara will premiere at Edinburgh International Film Festival

Akseli Tuomivaara’s debut feature Korso will premiere at the 68th Edinburgh International Film Festival.  Korso has been selected to Teen Spirit section of the festival. The Teen Spirit is organized this year for the very first time and highlights EIFF’s ongoing commitment to engaging young audiences and encouraging new filmmaking talent.  Six features and six short films have been selected by EIFF Young Programmes team.

Korso depicts Markus’s dreams of becoming a street ball star in New York. In reality he lives in the god-forsaken suburb called Korso and spends his days drinking and playing basketball with his friends in a run-down warehouse. Korso has been jointly produced by Bufo and Tuffi Films.
