Miso Film is currently preparing returning seasons for three of our favourite dramas:
Season two of the Norwegian series created by Siv Rajendram Eliassen and Anna Bache-Wiig for TV2 started filming on the 8th of February. In the second season we can expect to find out more about the seductive businessman Aksel Borgen and the death of his former girlfriend. The series will be produced by the Norwegian branch of Miso Film has has been pre-sold to the Nordic countries, Benelux, the UK, Germany and France. This comes after the first season was particularly popular in Norway, with an average viewer share of 36%.
Sadly this may be the last season from our favourite Danish crime show Dicte, which has now moved into its third season (The Killing, Borgen, The Bridge – all good things come in threes!). In this season we’ll see TV favourite Søren Malling join the cast alongside Stine Stengade. Iben Hjejle leads the cast as investigative journalist Dicte Svendsen. The series is produced for TV2 Denmark and has broadcasting partners in all the Nordic countries. Sadly no international release has been announced yet.
The new Swedish crime show Modus is set to come back for a second season after it is expected to be greenlit in early Spring. The series is created by Mai Brostrøm and Peter Thorsboe and has partners in the Scandinavian countries. The first season of the show was a huge hit in Sweden, and the lucky Norwegians get to see season one on television at the moment.
