The Icelandic documentary Yarn, which had its premiere at the Goteborg Film Festival last night, has been announced to have its North American premiere at SXSW in March 2016.

Yarn explores the traditional crafts of crochet and knitting, and follows international artists and knitters as they bring yarn to the streets in new ways. Starting in Iceland and moving through Scandinavia, Poland, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and all the way to the USA, Yarn looks at how yarn connects us all.

Yarn is supported by the Icelandic Film Centre, Creative Europe MEDIA Development Funding, Creative Europe MEDIA TV funding, RÚV, RTV, TG4, TVP and SVT.
