A new Icelandic crime documentary is set to debut on Netflix in July.

Titled Out of Thin Air, the documentary will explore a famous unsolved Icelandic murder case from the 1970’s. In December 1976, six suspects confessed to the murders of Guðmundur Einarsson and Geirfinnur Einarsson. The suspects had been tortured, interrogated, held in solitary confinement and incarcerated. However, due to all these facts, many people they did not commit the crime and so the case is being reheard.

Out of Thin Air will premiere on the BBC and RÚV in June and stream on Netflix as of July 1.
