The Norwegian documentary 69 Minutes of 86 Days has won the Golden Chair for Best Norwegian Documentary at the 40th Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad.

The festival took place on the 14th until the 18th of June.

69 Minute of 86 Days follows the journey Syrian refugees take from the south of Europe to the north. The film follows a three-year-old girl, Lean, as she and her family travel from Greece to Sweden to be reunited with the rest of her family.

So far, the film has been awarded a special mention in the NORDIC:DOX section of CPH:DOX, and director Egil Håskjold Larsen won the Emerging International Filmmaker Award at HotDocs 2017.
